XPS 8950, shuts off every 2-3 days

My Desktop PC is about 3 weeks old and it shuts off every 2-3 days. It's set up in the sleep mode after 10 minutes daily and power mode is balanced. Should I be doing something different? Not sure if I should trust this PC yet, have not setup all my apps yet. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Ok, someone suggested a stronger surge protector for a gaming pc.....Hooray, it worked, it has not turned over in over two weeks.   Awesome suggestion.

Check the advanced power plan settings and make sure hibernate and allow hybrid sleep are turned off.

@Sdenby80  - Please be specific about exactly what "...shuts off every 2-3 days..." means.

And since it's new and under warranty, perhaps a call to Dell Tech Support is on your agenda.  Have the Service Tag handy when you contact them. (Do not post Service Tag here.)

Yes, that's the obvious, but still did not work; someone suggested a stronger surge protector for a gaming pc.....Hooray, it worked, it has not turned over in over two weeks.   Awesome suggestion.
