Can anyone with a New XPS 15 9520 please check this?
I'm planning on buying one of these laptops with a 12th Gen Intel i7-12700H CPU and want to run Windows 11 with Hyper-V enabled.
I've read on other forums that in order to do this you need to disable the E cores on the CPU. This should be possible in the laptop BIOS/Firmware (accessed via hitting F2 when the machine powers on).
I know older Dell laptops have the option of disabling various CPU features, including reducing the number of cores, but I've not yet seen a real XPS with a 12th Gen Intel CPU in, so don't know if Dell provides this option or not.
Would anyone with one of these machines (New XPS 15 9520) be able to have a look in the BIOS and see if it's possible?

I've been able to enable Hyper-V in Windows Features without any issues on XPS 15 9520 (i7-12700H, 64GB) by simply ticking the relevant checkboxes and restarting the machine. Hope that helps, take care!

Can I ask you one more question?
What's the maximum number of CPUs Hyper-V will allow you to assign to a VM on that laptop?

I was able to configure up to 20 CPUs for Docker Desktop VM, which was then correctly displayed in Hyper-V as 20 vCPUs for this VM.
