XPS 13 9300, in white, hard to see the letters on the keyboard

Hi, just received my new XPS 13 9300, in white. Really nice, however, I saw that depending on the day light (was end of day, cloudy/white sky) it was hard to read the letters on the keyboard, especially with the backlight ON. Any tip how to do to go around this "issue"? Turn off the backlight of the keyboard?

Thanks!

you could try making the back light dimmer with Fn+F5 or disable it completely in bios to see if things visually improve for you.

Yes, unlike the black keyboard, I need to disable the keyboard backlight when in a light-filled setting, and turn it on when in a dimly lit setting.

I have the same problem. Very frustrating!!! Any solutions would be great!

In my keyboard, it is FN + F6. Very annoying. Some videos say F10, others say F5, but you need to look at what is on those keys before hitting.

Need to hit both keys exactly at the right time. Here is a video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TbEYgR4fpNE
