XPS 15 9520
Hello there! I've got a fresh new laptop from my company, and it can't detect external monitors. I tried to resolve this problem with my company service desk, but we were helpless.
We tried different drivers, went into bios and device manager etc. Nothing works. All monitors and adapters we tested worked fine on other laptops.
Mine has windows 11 os.
Unfortunately, it sounds like you may have a hardware issue with your new laptop. Have you tried contacting the manufacturer directly? They may be able to help you troubleshoot the issue or replace the defective unit.
Any updates on this issue? I just got the same laptop and it will not show anything on my Dell U3415W.
Is it connected with a simple-cable (natively) or are you using an adapter, hub, or conversion-cable of some kind?

I just confirmed it.
Works fine here on my XPS-15 (9520 with Nvidia) to Dell UltraSharp u2410. Used a simple HDMI cable with this adapter-box.
Did you try pressing F8 to see display options ?
Do you need to switch Inputs on the monitor itself?
Exactly the same here with my XPS 15 9520, cannot find a solution, my old XPS 13 worked perfectly with a USB C to C cable, but this new 15 is having none of it !!
