It is an error on the web site. If you click on the "Here" link you will see it is supported, and the R10 also has drivers for Windows 11 if you select the manual driver option.

It happens when they are updating the web site from time to time. There's are new chipset drivers from AMD for the R10 that just came out btw.

@DELL-Chris M Can you double check the error on the web site?

@steadler

Dell does not support 11 on many devices and only supports models that meet minimum requirements.

I'm on win 10 right now. The page did not have this message yesterday.

I'm sure I can install win 11 because windows update says so.

I just had the mobo replaced  on the 8th dec because it fried.

Just want to make sure , could be a bug on the site

I know the r10 is listed  compatible.

There are always problems with a new MS operating system. My take on Dell's statement was that it was a roundabout warning of problems with Windows 11 bugs and device drivers. For example, today I found a new device driver for my B550 chip set likely designed to run better under Windows 11.

The following list of Alienware desktop computers has been tested for upgrade to Windows 11. If your computer model is not listed, Dell will not test the device, and drivers will not be updated for that model.

  • Alienware Area-51 R4
  • Alienware Area-51 R5
  • Alienware Area-51 R7
  • Alienware Aurora R8
  • Alienware Aurora R9
  • Alienware Aurora Ryzen Edition R10
  • Alienware Aurora R11
  • Alienware Aurora R12

Aurora R6 and R7 are strangely missing. Anyone care to tell me why?

Poor Cortana .

I did try to use her. My main problem was remembering who to ask for and where. I had to ask for Siri, Alexa, or Cortana. If you ask for the wrong one they won't answer.

I'm thinking most of these others will just be moved to Windows Store for download.

I did see that the new XPS laptops come with Alexa for Windows pre-installed. It works.

It runs just fine on my R10. Some annoying differences with 10, but otherwise OK.
