Backplane SAS_XX cable is disconnected
Hi
Our Dell VRTX has come up with an error saying that all of the cables fom the SAS Backplane is disconnected. Obviously they are not. Look at this image:
The result being a pretty useless chassis as no drives come up.
- The "attention indicator on system board" is steady amber on controller slot 2 indicating a fault condition.
- The "power indicator on storage controller card" is regular blinking green on both controllers indicating normal operation.
- I have tried shutting the entire thing down and reseating cables and the "hard drive backplate expansion board" without positive results.

Hey @kennethdammyr,
I checked that one of your co-worker has submitted a email support and got in touch with the email support for log analysis. I may leave the support to analyze the logs and get back to him with a solution, I might not want to interfere the troubleshooting, as VRTX can be a tricky one to configure when it involves shared PERC and virtual drive mapping configuration.
Let me know of your thoughts.
