Clearing Non-Critical Alerts on VRTX CMC

Hello.....I have a VRTX and got a non-critical alert under the Chassis Health section on the Chassis Management Controller Interface. The alert I got was "perc-1 Chassis Integrated 1 RAID Controller has left the fault tolerant pair". Everything is fine and all the green checkboxes are fine next to the fault tolerance. First question is How do I clear the Non-Critical Alert section? Second question is What does it mean when the chassis Integrated controller left as it is seems to be fine now? Any information would be a great help. Thank you.

All it took was shutting the VRTX down and powering it back up. Non-Critical error is gone.

Hello. Thank you for your response and Fault Tolerance is enabled on the VRTX and it has been working great and all the checkboxes next to each controller is Green. I have tried clearing all the logs for both chassis and the hardware log and yes I did save them before clearing them and still have the non critical alert on the GUI on the first Storage Controller. I was hoping it can be cleared, but it is still there. Any other ideas? Thank you for your help.

hello @dcgtechnologies ,

fault tolerance is configured?

Check below link for fault tolerance:-

https://www.dell.com/support/manuals/en-us/poweredge-vrtx/sperc8-8e-ug-pub/two-existing-non-fault-tolerant-controllers-to-fault-tolerant-configuration?guid=guid-da98f77b-0a14-41a8-9d28-2c7cbf9629f0&lang=en-us

https://infohub.delltechnologies.com/l/dell-poweredge-vrtx-manuals-with-i-o-module-users-guides-1/upgrading-poweredge-vrtx-to-support-fault-tolerant-shared-perc-8-1

suggest you to save the Logs before clearing.

at the Bottom of the Chassis logs you can see two option save logs and clear logs both the action can be performed from there.

It is a non-critical alert. See Screenshots below:

When I click on the alert on "perc-1" this is what I get below:

See the other Perc that is fine just like this one. See below:

I do not see anything wrong with either of them. It is a non-critical alert. So why can it not be cleared? Thank you.

I had another failover to the other Perc back to the original controller in Slot 9 and now the message is showing as a non-critical error on Slot 10. See screenshot below:

What does it mean? I am not able to clear it even if the Chassis Log is cleared. Any ideas? Thank you.
