Chromebook 3180, touchpad error?.

Hello,

So chromebooks have been known to have touchpad issues. I've tried literally everything that was advised. My model is a Dell chromebook 11 3180. I've even gone as far as to factory wipe it and the touchpad still didnt work. What makes me the most irritated it that I havent spent more than 24 hours on it. It spent 6 months in a box.

Why is this post here? The forum has a big green check mark along with a "Solved!" and a "Solution". However, there is no solution. The alleged "solution" is one sentence that states: "thanks my issue has been fixed." What good reason is there to leave this on the forum? On what interpretation of the English language does this post contain a solution or deserve to be marked as "Solved!"?
