New Batteries on SCv2020

Hi Folks

I replaced the batteries 3 days ago on my SCv2020, however, the message still showing.

After replaced no messages sows that the batteries were replaced, is that correct?

Is there anything that I need to do to SCv202 recognize new batteries?

Thank you

check on CLI

"cha battery show"

or a clean reboot will fix it, do share the latest update or accept the POST as solved if your query is answered.

It would depend on your configuration, but I would suggest to do so.

WRcariflex,

While it could be that you need to reboot, what you can also do, in order to get more information, you can run "platform bmc battery display 0" and "cha battery show" to check the charge on the batteries.

Let me know what you see.

Hi Folks

Below the command result "cha battery show" and the command "platform bmc battery display 0" not exists look picture below.

Do I still need to reboot the Storage? If yes, Is there a CLI to do that instead to shut it down?

Thank you

Understood. Is it better to shutdown all VMs first, right?

You should be able to just using the gui, it would be under Actions-System-Shutdown/restart. That would be the easier route.
