Azure Marketplace : AVAMAR and Data domain Virtual Editions
hi guys,
Im trying to create from the azure marketplace the following AVAMAR and Data domain Virtual Editions
and im completely lost with the password recommandations. I tried pretty much everything on earth and it doesnt work. Feels like its a bug.
To reproduce it in azure/marketplace: create the AVAMAR and Data domain Virtual Editions
Pass the basic/infrastructure configuration once you hit AVE configuration the issue is with the password asked there :
AVE common password
Enter a password to use for all system passwords. Use a 14 to 31 character long password containing at least two upper case, two lower case, two digits, and two of the characters ., -, or _, and five different characters, and password should include less than 3 + 0.09*(length of the password) pairs of alphabetical neighbor characters next to each other.
Any ideas ?
Or i was thinking, if its a possibility i already have a box with DDVE install on it. If there is a way to "upgrade" and have avamar on it as well.. ill go this way. Is it possible?

Hi, It is not any bug, just enhanced security. The password combination required is pretty difficult to meet all mentioned. But you have to so when I tested installation I used " aNf-NMsBC946X. " as a password to satisfy all requirement.
You can also use like BdGh_-06102020 as a password.
