Dell E510 fan airflow direction
Hi All
The fan was having problems in my old Dell E510. I found a cheap replacement, and when I got the old fan out, I was surprised that the airflow arrow was facing to the Front of the computer. Instead of blowing air over the CPU heat sink, toward the back, it blows toward the front?
is this right, or maybe a factory error? Should I put the new fan in the same way, blowing to the front?

I had an E510. From what I remember the orientation of the OEM fan is correct.
Considering the age of the PC and it apparently worked OK for years, that is another reason to go with how the original fan was installed.
