Equallogic PS4100 reset password
hi i have a decommissioned Equallogic PS4100
how ever no one knows the pass.
i woud like to use it again but. after reading some discussions im a bit lost.
i do have a serial cable

Hello,
This page shows how to do it via the serial port. https://www.jordansphere.co.uk/reset-equallogic-password-via-cli/
You will have to be on the active CM and very quick hitting CTRL-P It might take a few attempts

@dwilliam62 thank you this worked for me
if that link died here are the instrutions.
1) Console on the Equallogic and powercycle the device
2) Press CTRL+P on boot
3) Use the following commands:
EQL> setenv RESETPASSWORD 1
EQL> reload
This should reset the password back to defaults =>
Username: grpadmin
Password: grpadmin
4) Reset the password
account select gpradmin passwd
You will then be prompted for the new password
