Dell SupportAssist not working on Windows 11 ?
I have a Dell Inspiron 13.3" 7000 7391 2 in 1 Laptop and since I updated to Windows 11 SupportAssist .exe will not run click to open the app just blinks for a micro sec. and won't open is there a fix for this ?

I ques that next steps help in many cases:
* uninstall SupportAssist
* install .NET 5.0.x runtime https://dotnet.microsoft.com/en-us/download/dotnet/5.0
* reboot
* execute https://downloads.dell.com/serviceability/catalog/SupportAssistInstaller.exe
My env: Win 11, Dell XPS 13 9310. Updated from Win10.

I'm going to say right now that this worked and even works better than support assist is shocking; if you're thinking about going through their support service, don't and do this.

I reached out to Support to help me with this same issue and they were clueless. Everything they told me to do not only did not fix the issue, but made matters worse. They were not helpful at all. I'm very disappointed in their lack of knowledge and inability to resolve this, especially since there appear to be many having this same issue.

A little late but Dell quietly fixed SupportAssist. For the XPS 15, the latest version of SA installed and functions normally. This thread should be closed.
