Inspiron 5510 Recovery Mode

Hi,
I need instructions, specifically for my Inspiron 5510, on how to create a recovery usb and also the steps to recovery should my laptop fails,

Forgot to mention that my F12 key for recovery doesnt work. I've tried an external keyboard but no luck. Perhaps its not F12 for my model?.

Thanks Elder. That helps but I still have the faulty F12 issue. I'm testing the other F keys
