MP 7.0 scom 1801
Hi,
I have install the 7.0 dell mp on scom 1807 and can't get any of the features to install. I get no error when I go install then from scom. I've tried updating the dashboard but makes no difference.
I'm not sure if it's the case the the dell mp at the moment doesn't support scom 1807? or something else.
Any advise would be much appreciated.

Hi,
Based on the logs, Server MP (in-band(OMSA/iSM) & Out-of-band(iDRAC)) imported successfully. You should able to discovery and monitoring Servers now.
To debug why FMP dashboard is not getting updated, need following logs:
- Any error/warning message in "Active Alert" in SCOM
- Any error/warning message in "Operation manager" in Windows Event viewer

SCOM 1807 is not official supported in MP 7.0, However this should be working. We will surly help you out.
Are you able to see "Feature Management Dashboard"?
Quick way to resolve the run installer and repair it
Need following logs to debug further:
Installer log : location "C:\Import_FeatureMonitoringLog"
Enable Feature Management Dashboard log : follow the steps given below in screenshot
Feature Management Dashboard log : location "C:\Windows\Temp\DellFeatureMonitoring_Logs"

Thanks for your help.
Yes I can see the feature dashboard.
I did try a repair.
I have now turned on the logging and can see the issue
Microsoft.SystemCenter.OutofBand.SMASH.Library is not present, Cannot import the Dell Server Out-Of-Band Mps
I'm not sure how I go about fixing this as when I look for this I can only find this for scom 2012 online

Hi,
Microsoft.SystemCenter.OutofBand.SMASH.Library must required for our MP. Please follow the setup given in our installation guide https://topics-cdn.dell.com/pdf/server-management-pack-suite-v7.0_setup-guide_en-us.pdf
refer Page number 37 Appendix "Installing Web Services Management (WS-Man) and SMASH Device template"
post that repair/re-install Dell Server MP using installer

I've installed the SMASH Device template and reinstalled the Dell MP. I also installed it on the other 3 management servers I have as I was getting a Dell Device Helper Utility error. However I still can't get features to update, I can't see any issues in the logs.

Hi,
If you are using SCOM 1801 you can upgrade to DellEMC Server Management Pack Suite v7.1.1 to monitor your Dell EMC servers. In this, the supported server monitoring features are:
a. license-free in-band monitoring of servers (agent based, through OMSA)
b. licensed in-band monitoring of servers (agent based, through iSM)
c. DRAC monitoring.
SCOM 1807 is not supported in Dell Server Management Pack Suite v7.0.
The other solution offered is upgrade to Dell EMC OpenManage Integration Version 7.1.1 for Microsoft System Center Operations Manager which supports SCOM 1807 wherein you can monitor Dell EMC servers through iDRAC.
