U2722DE, DDM 2.3.0.23

<Clarification. DDM is WindowsOS, DDPM is macOS. DELL-Admin>

I have two U2722DE monitors connected to the Microsoft Surface dock using DP cables. The computer runs Windows 11 Pro with all the latest upgrades. My setup has been working fine for the last 3 years until today when I upgraded the DDM to version 2.3.0.23. Now the only option available on its menu is Easy Arrange. All others are inactive and cannot be selected. I have double-checked and can confirm that DDC/CI is on on both monitors. Is there something I can do to correct this?

Problem solved! I have disconnected the monitors' power supply (pulled the plugs out of their sockets) waited a little and plugged it back in. All works now. Go figure.

To receive assistance from Dell support agents they need to first verify the ownership and warranty status. Click the blue "Get Help Now" on the right to start a private live chat session. Share the private U2722DE Service Tags with them.

* Uninstall DDM 2.3.0.23
* Restart the Surface

* Install the prior DDM 2.2.0.43
* Restart the Surface

* Go back to the top of this Monitors Forum
* Open, "FAQ Monitor"
* Open, "FAQ DDM (Dell Display Manager)"

Thanks Chris. I have now:

* Uninstalled DDM 2.3.0.23
* Restarted the Surface

* Installed the prior DDM 2.2.0.43
* Restarted the Surface

* Started the DDM

Unfortunately, the problem did not go away. Still the only option available on the menu is Easy Arrange.

Do you remember the version of DDM that was working? All of the older ones are on that page to try.

Well, I'm quite diligent in upgrading my systems so most probably the last working version was the previous one. Probably the installation of the newest version contaminated something, and the uninstallation did not clean up properly. I have tried some manual cleanup, but it did not help. I have now tried versions 2.1 and 2.2 - same problem. Perhaps it was something in the Windows updates?

Also the command line approach no longer works, e.g. commands like "C:\Program Files\Dell\Dell Display Manager 2\ddm.exe" /WriteBrightnessLevel 70 return error "You must provide a value expression following the '/' operator."
