U3011, leaning to one side, fixable?

Monitor: U3011, purchased about 2 weeks ago

Revision A08

SN MX-078W52-74446-2B2-A0TL

The problem I have since unpacking is the monitor is leaning noticeably to the right when placed on a flat surface.  I measured the right edge is about 4mm lower to the table than the left.  Is there some procedure I can perform like loosening some screws and adjusting or something like to fix the monitor alignment?  I suppose trying to flex it into alignment is not advisable?

Thanks

Dell does not sell or replace monitor stands as a stand alone item. The stand comes to us from the manufacturer as "part and parcel" with the entire monitor. What you might try is to remove the panel from stand. Then try to manipulate the stand bracket so it is level. Then attach the panel to the stand bracket to see if it is level.

Thanks, I seem to have solved this problem with a slight amount of careful twist action in the other direction.  It's perfect now and no side effects.  (it's quite pliable)

bn880,

The monitor stand simply "slots" into the rear of the monitor. There are no screws. The monitor can tilt, swivel, and go up and down. It sounds like you need to manipulate it to level it.

No this model doesn't have the rotation around z axis.  It has tilt around x (top/bottom towards you and away), swivel (Y axis) one side towards you and away.  But not Z axis rotation to raise or lower a side.  The stand has no rotation capability where it attaches to the screen.  (the 2408wfp did have this feature)
