Dell XPS 13 9343 (2015) Help needed upgrading Wifi card to Intel AC 9260

Can someone advise me on if either of these versions of the 9260 will work on my 2015 XPS 9343. One of them is labelled the R510 and the other R610 on the sticker, I'm not sure if the R610 is for systems with external antennas?

R510

R610

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Wireless-AC-802-11ac-1730Mbps-1-73Gbps-Bluetooth/dp/B07G9WKJ77

I currently have the Intel 7265 as the original Broadcom one was causing me wifi issues (Poor signal, connected but no internet, constant disconnections etc), this upgrade solved the issue, that was until I upgraded to Windows 10. Then the 7265 became just as problematic and I've spent the last 4 years tinkering with the adapter settings, rolling back drivers, updating drivers, changing power settings, but if something does fix it, it doesn't last long. If I try to connect to a new WIFI then that's a whole new raft of issues. Essentially, my laptop works fine if it is in line of site of my home router. Forget connecting to a public wifi.

If anyone thinks I may have missed something then I'll happily give it a go but I'm confident it won't last long before it plays up again.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Steve

Yes, I went for the R510 this one: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B079QJQF4Y Completely fixed the issue so far so very happy.

9 times out of 10 it is connected before I've even opened chrome, the other occasion just a few seconds while it connects. Very easy to change, think there are guides about if you need help.

Hey @DELL-Cares

I have the same problem with xps 13 - 9343. What compatible wifi card can I use on windows 10 so that I don't have a weak signal and interruptions? Thanks.
