Precision 5530, TB16 ethernet connection not working

Hi,

I am using Precision 5530 with Dock TB16 to connect external display and ethernet cable. The internet connection through the ethernet stopped working suddenly. I tried restarting everything, downloading drivers and some investigations in the Device Manager but no luck so far. The ethernet is working fine if I use an ethernet/USB-C adaptor. 

Note: I updated the BIOS a couple of days ago.

I would really appreciate help to solve this issue.

Update = I believe the last update of the BIOS from Dell is the main reason it stopped working. I followed the SLN308303 instructions below and the problem is solved.
