Firmware Update with OMEVV: Host enters not maintenance mode

Do you have DRS on Automactily within vSphere on the given Cluster?   If so what happends if you click MM within vSphere Client on that Host?

Yes DRS fully automated.

I also tried that option: single Update on one host, what is aleady in MM. But nothing happend.

We have a Q System an P System and on both the same Problem.

it looks like OMEVV could not get the server to gracefully shutdown, if same happened with MM, may need to try graceful shutdown from idrac.

Sometimes idrac cannot power off OS and need manual push,

How many hosts are impacted?

Hi @DELL-Young E, i created a support ticket. Actual we have ~100 Esx (Dell) Server with that Problem.
On Friday i checked it only with a BIOS Update, that is working with MM.

The Package what is not working is for the FibreChannel Adapter Emulex. It shows UNKOWN state an then fails.

Got the information that the problem will be resolved in Version 4.2 and OMEVV 1.4
The problem is related to protocolType="PLDM" on DUP.
