How to disable TLS 1.1 on Dell OpenMange Integration Virtual Appliance ve5.x
Hi, We have a policy/requirement to encrypt all network traffic at a minimum of TLS 1.2. I am trying to find out how to explicitly prevent our OpenManage vCenter Integration appliance accepting TLS1.1 or lower.

You'll want to make the TLS configuration setting with the iDRACs. I'm not seeing any location to make TLS setting changes in the manual, I know the DRAC web UI does.
If you need OMIVV to specifically reject any connection below 1.2, we'll need to do a feature request. I can get that submitted, but I'd need to ask you a couple questions that would probably be more appropriate in a direct message.

Hi Dylan,
I'm not sure I understand how setting TLS values in the iDRAC would affect the virtual appliance but given the mention of a feature request I may have got the wrong end of the stick.
Please let me know how I can go about submitting such a request.

There isn't anything you'd need to do. It would just be me working with backline escalation support to submit to engineering. Prior to answering you, I spoke with those same folks, so it's something that you won't have to worry about. Unfortunately, there's no way for me to get an estimate on when/if that request would be worked on, though.

Could you provide me more details of your server information? In such like what model server you have, what version of iDRAC firmware, what version of OMIVV you have installed.

Hi @Wallace Bell,
I just spoke to one of my friend from OMIVV engineering, they mentioned that there is no option to change any settings on TLS, that is due to security reasons.
