OMEVV - Unable to connect to vCenter/Client is temporarily blocked for too many ...

I feel like I'm missing something with OMEVV.  I was able to install the plug-in in OpenManage Enterprise but when I tell the client to connect (which it does successfully.  I followed the guide to build the non-admin account and give it the vCenter and Dell permissions) I see the Plugin on the vCenter side is full of "Unable to connect to vCenter" and "Client is temporarily blocked for too many unsuccessful authentication attempt".

I think what I'm missing here is that I need OpenManage Enterprise Advanced+ to get it to connect to vcenter (per the article here - https://infohub.delltechnologies.com/p/new-openmanage-enterprise-advanced-ready-to-bring-new-customer-benefits/).  So how do I go from OpenManage Enterprise to OME A+?  I can't seem to find any download or license for it.  What exactly am I missing?

Hello thanks for choosing Dell. Maybe this will help: https://dell.to/3LXUBYW

That answers some questions but doesn't really resolve the issue I'm having of the vCenter OME Plugin showing nothing but "Unable to connect to vCenter" and "Client is temporarily blocked for too many unsuccessful authentication attempt".

I did apply the trial idrac Enterprise Advanced+ license to some of my esxi servers but that made no difference.

Hello Caindris,

I'm not finding much on this. I thought it would be the Enterprise Advanced+ license you need, but you say you tried the trial license.

Have you rebooted?

I would recommend to  call into Support so they can do a remote session with you in case it is something with your account.

This is a similar thread and they had to call in: https://dell.to/3zec5c8
