URL list to allow on proxy for OMIVV
New deployment of 5.4.
We have to send all OMIVV outbound traffic through our proxy. We were able to find what looks like a list of the URL that OMIVV will communicate with and allow them on the proxy.
While some functionality like checking for appliance updates is now working we still see that the proxy test fails. Does anyone know what the complete list of URL or IP are that we need to allow?

We were able to resolve this. The proxy was having an issue with www.dell.com. Once that was resolved things are working. Can the documentation be updated to reflect that www.dell.com is needed for the proxy test in addition to the four URL listed (https://www.dell.com/support/manuals/en-us/openmanage-integration-vmware-vcenter/omivv_5.4_ig/dell-online-destination-url?guid=guid-53e0841d-e1b2-4840-b26b-58836d300e82&lang=en-us)?

Hi @DELL-Young E, we've confirmed that we are not seeing any firewall blocks. If we back off the proxy URL list to be *.dell.com/* it works so we know it's just a matter of figuring out the additional Dell URL that are needed. Are you able to confirm the complete list of URL that are needed as the 4 in the documentation are not a complete list.

OMIVV just tests going to dell.com That should be a full list.
When you get proxy test fails; Is there any more detail you get that you can provide?

Hi @Dell -Charles R, we have dell.com allowed but it's still failing the proxy test. When we allow all traffic it works but that's not allowed in our environment. Is it possibly a sub-domain of dell.com (e.g. proxytest.dell.com)?

Hi,
If you are using *.dell.com wouldn’t that cover any subdomains? I have not been able to find any additional domains that should be allowed for it to work.

Hi @DellEMCSupport, if we allow *.dell.com as a test it does work but we can't leave it that way.

@DellEMCSupport We don't have a vCenter or hosts connected to OMIVV yet. We just have the appliance deployed and are doing the initial configuration.
