Optiplex 7020 micro expansion (DP / USB-C)

Hi, I purchased an OptiPlex 7020 micro format, specifically Intel® Core™ i5-14500T vPro, and when I received it I saw that I need another Displayport or a USB-C monitor (I know I can put 2 monitors on the DP that comes, but I do not want to do that).

Can you tell me which is the component part I can buy to install the optional Displayport or USB-C expansion?

(I am an IT guy, I have no problem installing hardware, but I want to know which part to buy).

Thanks

For a DisplayPort/USB-C add-on port, you can install a daughter board similar as this Dell Part GMHY5 https://www.dell.com/en-us/shop/dell-type-c-i-o-daughterboard/apd/gmhy5/controller-cards

That Dell Part shows up to 7010, will it work with 7020 micro?

Since I did not installed one on that specific 7020 micro, I can not say a definitive.  I provided information with research based on information available.  You will need to verify with Dell Spare Parts or Dell Sales.

For comparison, review and verify both motherboard layouts, daughterboard ports, and Type C installations:
