This is unbeliveable from Dell and some not all Dell moderators in this forum really a shame on them who do not give us warnings with older Dell poweredge servers and to update one step for BIOS and one step for IDRAC in alternate fashion way , I unfortunately got an moderator which give me absolutely no No warning at all to update step by step slowly and to run all IDRAC and BIOS updates alternately one by one updating a BIOS one step and then also updating IDRAC one step and repeat till reach the latest version for both IDRAC and BIOS, I bricked my motherboard with IDRAC update due to an amateur flimsy and weak Dell moderator shame on you amateur moderator, I hope other unaware forum users with older servers are luckyer than me to get the moderators in deep knowledge and not the amateur shallow flimsy Dell moderators

Something I am guessing is happening with this unsuccessfuly or botched IDRAC updates, may be is necessary before doing this updates to restore or set to Defaults the BIOS and IDRAC before the update procedure and to avoid botched IDRAC updates I am not sure just guessing
