PowerFlex Quarterly Support Highlights January 2023

Are You Code Current? 

Being code current is running code less than 12 months old and/or is the latest compatible version for your system. If your code version number is below 3.6.3.0, 3.5.7.0, 3.4.7.0 and 3.3.12.0 then you should plan to upgrade. Refer to the Dell EMC Release Certification Matrix (RCM) portal to see the supported, certified versions of software and firmware components. To access the RCM portal, go to the Technical Resource Center and log in. Click RCM Portal.

Important Announcement – PowerFlex 14G (R640 and R740XD) will reach End of Life and will no longer be available for purchase on February 4, 2023

•  Affected 14G offers include PowerFlex rack, appliance and VxFlex Ready Nodes.
•  This EOL does not impact PowerFlex 14G R840.

o This platform will continue to be available for ordering.

o The EOL date for the PowerFlex R840 has not yet been identified.

 Important Announcement – Technical Resource Center (TRC) Decommission.

The TRC was in November 2022. All existing documentation has been migrated to the Dell Support Site, the central location for all Dell product documentation.
