Replacing device

ScaleIO v2.0.1.3 powered with VMware vSphere 6.0.

I am trying to add a new disk to replace the error disk in VMware vCenter with ScaleIO plugin.

SDS - Select SDS - Add Device. After adding, I get an error - The following devices were not added to the SDS:
t10.ATA_____INTEL_SSDSC2KB480G8_____________________000000000000__ - Failed: Add SDS device ScaleIO-a0fa61f to Storage Pool scaleio_pool (Unknown ScaleIO error)

In processing - new disk added as RDM and after fail - rollback.

if the disk was RDM'ed and not added to ScaleIO, its most probably due to signatures on the disk referring to a previous used SDS device.

If you are sure on the disk being added does not contain any data, remove the RDM pointer, perform the dd operation to write zero's to first 1 GB of the disk from ESXi and then retry the operation of adding the disk.
