adding targets on hyper v cluster - multiple favorite targets
I am unsure about adding targets when I am configuring the ISCSI initiator on a Hyper cluster node. On the ME4024 admin guide, the steps say to add the repeat the steps for each port. When this is done, I'm left with multiple Favorite targets of the same volume. That same volume appears multiple times in disk management and when i run the cluster validation report, it complains about multiple disks with the same name. Am I missing something with MPIO here? Thanks

Thank you. That document is very informative but it didnt answer my question specifically. In the admin guide for the 4024, I am instructed to add each IP of the ISCSI ports on the SAN. If I do this, I have 8 favorite targets. The cluster validation report warns about this condition. Thanks

Hi It may be that MPIO wasnt complete on the servers. I will try that tomorrow and then run the validation report again.
