Precision 5680 with WD19DCS

Hey everyone,

Anybody else using the combination Precision 5680 with WD19DCS?

Currently I have a ticket open with Dell, because those two are simply not working together.

1.) Everytime I tried to shutdown the laptop, it either restarted (in this case the lights on the double cable of the WD19DCS disappeared for a second and came back like I reconnected the computer) or switched my laptop into sleep mode.

2.) Everytime I started my laptop by connecting to the WD19DCS I either got a message that I am using the wrong charger, or there was no network connection, like I did not connect the cable to the dock. In this case I had to completely disconnect the dock from the power supply and reconnect it after a few seconds.

3.) The dock stopped charging my laptop unnoticed several times during the day. I only noticed it when I got the message that there is only 4% power in my laptop and I need to plug in the power supply. Same thing here, I needed to unplug the dock from the power supply for a few seconds.

I tried three brandnew WD19DCS docks, the same problem occured on all of them.

I have no issues when I´m using the laptop standalone, or with other docks in combination with the regular 165W power supply.
