esrs add manage device
Hello,
I had recently install the esrs virtual appliance on our infrastructure.
i have a question for the way that i will add our VNX 5100.
The VNX has two SP's with one IP each. When i'm going to add it next to serial number i have some choice's and i don't know was i have to choose. The choice's is BLOKCKA, BLOCKB, FILEP, FILES, FILEA, CS0,CS1.
If someone can give an advice i will be obligated.

Hello,
here a VNX legend:
BLOCKA = SPa IP address
BLOCKB = SPb IP address
in the case of VNX Unified there are also:
FILEP = Primary Control Station IP address
FILES = Secondary Control Station IP address
FILEA = is used if is configured an IP alias for the primary and secondary Control Station
CS0 and CS1 are absolete

i have contact with emc for approving my request some days now through a open ticket for esrs installation but nobody had answer me.
Do you know if i had to contact someone specific?

Thank you very much for your assistance!
I try to start a chat but it was unavailable. i will try again later.
If i can't contact either with chat i will request to close the open SR.
I see the GUI of my ESRS and everything was good as you said.

The Service Request was stuck. However the use of Service Request for this activity is correct, alternatively you can open a chat at support.emc.com portal.
In the mean time I have approved the two deploy request and now all looks good.
