Mouse gets drained in 15 days
Dell Wireless Keyboard and Mouse, Anti-Fade & Spill-Resistant Keys, up to 36 Month Battery Life & KB216 Wired Multimedia USB Keyboard with Super Quite Plunger Keys with Spill-Resistant – Black
Dear Dell team,
I have a Dell KM117 wireless Keyboard and Mouse (KB216). Mouse is with 1 AA battery. I use it every working day. I turn the mouse off during nights/weekends, but still I have to replace the battery twice a month.
I purchased this KB216 in 19 January 2022. Keyboard is working fine but mouse is asking for 2 batteries in a month.
If this issue continues, I guess I will be spending more on batteries than the mouse price itself in the next 1 year.
What is wrong with this mouse? what is the solution? Does this problem fall under warranty?
Thanks!

I understand your frustration with the battery life of your Dell KM117 wireless mouse. It sounds like you've been experiencing significant drain despite turning it off during non-use times. While it's disappointing to hear about this issue, it's possible that there could be a fault in the mouse itself leading to excessive battery consumption. Unfortunately, if you've already tried replacing the batteries and the problem persists, it might be worth considering alternative options for a mouse with longer battery life.
