WD19TB doesn't work after firmware update

Dell Thunderbolt Dock - WD19TB

Dell Thunderbolt Dock - WD19TB

Hello

I have a DELL WD19TB dockingstation. It worked fine. Then I wanted to update the firmware. Got the latest firmware software from official dell page for exactly my dockingstation. Started the update, all worked fine, but in the last update step it always disconnected and connected (about 10 times). The programm showed that the update was successful and finished. But it kept connecting and immediately (1s) disconnecting and now when I plug it in, it always connects and instant disconnects, connects and disconnects,...
I have reset the dock with button and AC out.

Does anyone know a solution for it?
I can't update the firmware anymore, because the tool does not recognize the dockingstation due to it's disconnecting and connecting all the time.

I have this problem too! I installed a Dell firmware update on Pop!_OS, and the docking station stopped working in the exact manner you are describing - turns on and off every few seconds. It's completely unusable. I got rid of Pop!_OS thinking it was a linux issue, but I have the same problem on Windows 11. It's a firmware issue. I have tried re-installing the Dell drivers for it, as well as updating/re-installing drivers for the chipset and CPU, and I also reverted the BIOS settings back to default. Nothing seems to work. Dell, please provide a working firmware update!! It is completely unusable. I need it to work because my laptop does not have a port for a second external monitor.
