I don't think BIOS versions are interchangeable between the M17X R3 and M17 R3. Only M17X R3 is listed as compatible with BIOS A12, and only M17 R3 is listed as compatible with BIOS 1.24.0.
These PC models also use different Intel chipsets on the motherboard: M17X R3 uses Intel HM67 chipset M17 R3 uses Intel HM470 chipset
The i7-2760QM CPU uses an Intel G2 socket on the M17X R3 motherboard, but there's no mention of removing the CPU from the M17 R3 motherboard in its Service Manual, so it may be permanently mounted.
Bottom line, I don't the M17X R3 motherboard will ever support Secure Boot. That said, I see things on the internet about installing various versions of Linux on PCs running Legacy BIOS. So maybe you should look for a Linux version that doesn't require Secure Boot.
Could you specify which PC model we are talking about? If you can provide the exact model, I can tell you where to find the setting you are looking for.
@RoHe Yes I want to install linux on it. I had another M17 R3, with linux but the motherboard died. So I bought another but it won't boot the install USB because it needs eufi to boot.
There is no option to set legacy or eufi boot anywhere in the bios. I updated the bios to the latest A12 because of this issue. But it did not solve the problem.
Something doesn't sound right... Where did you buy this 2nd M17 R3, and is it a used PC?
What CPU is installed and what version of Windows is running now, assuming it boots into Windows.
If Windows runs, try this: Click Start>Run>type in:msinfo32.exe and click OK. When that opens, click SystemSummary at top of left pane. Then scroll down right pane. What does it say for BIOS Version, BIOS Mode and Secure Boot?

@mora
I don't have your exact same mode, but it should be quite easy to find: once you have entered the BIOS, go to Security > Secure Boot > enable.
Let me know if you can't find it.

@mora - In BIOS setup... (table 1)
Is Boot List Option set to UEFI or Legacy?
Is Legacy Options ROM disabled?
Is Attempt Legacy Boot disabled?
Just a guess, but if any Legacy option is enabled in BIOS setup, you might not see the Secure Boot option listed...

Have you tried releasing flea power from the motherboard?

And you're sure Legacy isn't enabled anywhere in BIOS?
Beyond that, no other ideas.
Do you really need Secure Boot enabled?
