OpenManage Enterprise 3.10.2 Plugins

Anybody running plugins successfully on the titled version of OME?

Want to make sure I'm not missing something here. I even downloaded the services plugin and did a manual update but OME still won't install a plugin.

Every plugin says "No compatible Versions available".

Moving on to version 4.0 is not an option.

Hello thanks for choosing Dell.,

The reason you are seeing no compatible plugins available is because OME always points to the latest available plugin repository

And since OME 4.0 was released 2 weeks ago, none of the latest plugins are compatible with the older versions of OME

Hence the versions older than 4.0, you will not be able to see any compatible plugins available

This article 000219406 explains this.

So you can do either one of the following (method 1 will be the easier if OME already has connectivity to the Internet)

In the OME UI, under Console and Plugins, do to Update Settings and point the offline Network Share path to the “online” path for the specific plugin version that’s compatible

Set up an offline server (HTTP/HTTPS/NFS) and point the Network Share path to the offline address, by following the folder + content structure of the online path

For example

https://x.x.x.x/OME/plugins

Thanks so much for taking the time to reply to post. Your help is very much appreciated. This worked flawlessly for me and allowed me to get a better understanding for the product.
