Dell 7212: No rear POGO?

I have a Dell 7212. I bought a USB + Ethernet Port Replicator that attaches to the rear POGO Pins.

Well, when I went to attach it, I realized there were no rear POGO pins! I thought the black cover that is where the pins would be was just that, a cover. Turns out, there are no pins behind that.

So, I need to buy whatever part that is actually the pogo pins and whatever attaches it to the motherboard. Does anybody know what part I need?

We tried reaching you on a private message asking for the Service Tag number to ascertain the warranty but did not receive a response. Please feel free to reply to the private message whenever you are available.

It certainly does not have a warranty. I'm not trying to get anything covered under warranty. I'm trying to find the right part number so I can buy the part I need.

Yes, same question. My Pogo pins on the back are covered with a plastic cover. It does not want to pry off. Also out of warranty but there is no info in the getting started, owners manual, or I/O module manual. Help!

The rear cover is literally a plastic place holder to cover the hole.

To install the rear pogo, you'll need the module and a ribbon cable.

You'll also need to basically gut the whole tablet as the module sits behind the motherboard.

Here are the markings on my 7212:

Module:

IOM-POGO-L2

REV:2.0 (A00)

Ribbon Cable:

C_IOM_POGO_L2

REV:2.0 (A00)

P/N: 0800-0WC3E00

If you search the ribbon cable P/N you'll find images of what you want.

Getting the actual two parts is a bit difficult.

Goodluck

Edit:

According to here: https://central-parts.com/products/oem-dell-latitude-7202-rugged-tablet-docking-board-cable-thb02-p-n-u1210

It has P/N: U1210
