Dell pn556w not writing

I'm using a "Inspiron 14 5410" (using win 10) and while trying to connect the dell pn556w pen, it did connect succesfully with bluetooth but only the top barrel button and pen itself doens't write or can interact with the screen whatsoever.
Is there any reason for this kind of behvaior?
