Touchpad does not respond on Dell Travel keyboard for Latitude 5290

I recently purchased a used Dell Latitude 5290 and everything works fine except for the touchpad. I checked bios, updated to the latest drivers from the dell website, and it still does not work. Keyboard works and lights up as it should. I have tried a second travel keyboard only to run into the same issue. I read to check touchpad settings in Windows, but this does not appear on my device. In device manager nothing appears under mice and pointers except for the usb wireless mouse i have plugged in as a temporary solution. Touchscreen also functions as usual. The tablet is running on the latest version of 64 bit Windows 11
