VNXe3200 - Issue with Pool Creation

Hello

Maybe some can help me. When I'm trying to create pool, it gives me this error

In chrome Developers options, I can see two red requests.

These are full request urls

https://x.x.x.x/api/types/storageTier/instances?compact=true&visibility=Engineering&per_page=99999&fields=tierType%2CdisksUnused%2CsizeFree%2CraidConfigurations&page=1

https://x.x.x.x/api/types/storageTier/instances?compact=true&visibility=Engineering&fields=tierType%2CraidConfigurations%2CtierType%2Cid&page=1&per_page=100&orderby=tierType%20ASC&filter=(id%20eq%20%22%22)

When I am trying to run this URLs directly in chrome, first one is giving response, but in second one there is no records. (entries section is blank)

What I have tried:

1. Restarting SP

2. Removing and inserting disks

3. As I have other storage pools, removed disks and inserted same kind of disks which I am using right now (same error)

4. Removing disks, but still, error is same

5. Tried to expand working pool (I thought problem maybe in creating pool), still the same error.

Hello LevanM,

Have you tried to create the pool using CLI and see if you are getting the timeout error? Here is the link to the CLI guide if you need it. https://dell.to/49GMWX7

Hello LevanM,

Have you tried a different browser to see if you are getting the same error?

Hello LevanM,

Are you getting timeout errors doing any other operations or is it just when you try to create a pool? Have you uninstalled and reinstalled unisphere on your system?

@DELL-Sam L

I am getting error only during pool creation. Everything else is working.

And I am not using any software for creating pool. I am using web to access storage.

Hello

Sorry for late answer. I knew about uemcli, but I wanted issue that I have on GUI (I am not able to create pool from GUI).

Unfortunately there is no any article about it.

For now I figured out how to create pool with uemcli and I did it.

Thanks
