Migrate to Vxrail from exsiting cluster
Hello Everyone,
we have a new vxrail cluster with internal vcenter with vxrail 7.0.410, we are planning to migrate old environment from traditional server vSphere 6.5 and vCenter 7.0 .
my Question:
- is it possible to unregister the host from old vcenter, and add it to VxRail Vcenter ? for migration purpose only ?
- will cross vCenter mirgation work with declared version ?
- is there any other recommended method for migration.
Thank you in advance

Hi,
Thanks for your question. There is a procedure on solve https://dell.to/3LLxLUo under Miscellaneous-> migration procedures that is the recommended method for migrating. Cross Vcenter migration should work as well.
Let us know if you have any additional questions.

Hello
the prcouders declared how to migrate cluster from source vcneter to target vcneter or target is to move VMs from exsiting envirnment for nelwy deployed vxrail system, i mean with cross vcenter migration the VMWARE vmoition for vms between two different vcenters
