Cannot push image to 5020 thin client

Hi, I hope somebody can help me. We have a selection of Wyse terminals, a mix of 5010 thin clients (model no. Dx0D) and 5020s (model no. DxoQ). We have an image on a 5010 that we have pulled onto a USB stick using the USB imaging tool and pushed onto other 5010s without issue. However, when trying to push this image onto a 5020, the image push fails with an error - "mismatch between security key of device and security key of xml".

I understand that images are device dependent, but we still should be able to use images within the 5000 series of thin clients shouldn't we?

We have also tried to push out a build using the WDM. This has consistently failed with error "Flash is corrupted or improper repository/network configuration".

Any help would be appreciated.

Are both the 5010 and 5020 running the same OS? Please note that there is a difference between the 32-bit and 64-bit OSs (WES7e = WES7 32-bit, WES7p = WES 64-bit) and each have a different key.

I have been able to share the same image between similar hardware like the 7020 (W10) and 5020 (W10) because they use nearly identical hardware (only difference is the CPU, GPU and size. CPUs/GPUs in 5020 and 7020 are in the same family); however the 5010 and 5020 are different chipsets and would need different drivers. You probably be best to create a new image for the 5020. The "5000" series a marketing name for medium-powered devices and does not reflect the hardware. The 5020 is the successor to the older 5010.
