WDM Installation

Hi,

I'm inheriting a install base of Wyse terminals of roughly1250. Currently they are only using .ini files for configuration. I've been tasked with installing and configuring WDM. No big deal right? Just looking for confirmation that if I install WDM on the current FTP repository server that WDM won't grab those devices and screw up their configuration. If I understand it right, this shouldn't happen unless I give these devices a WDM server in their DHCP options.

Thanks

Thanks, I answered my own question by setting up a small test environment. Appreciate your help, as it seems you're the only one answering questions around here.

Thanks,

Tim

TLucas,

You may want to add some details to your question in order to get the correct answer. There is some information missing from your question that will help us provide you with the correct response.

1- What are the device models involved?

2- What is the OS and version installed on the thin clients?

3- What is the version of WDM that you have installed?

4- Are you using WDM Workgroup or Enterprise?
