WDM Upgrade and Support?

Hello,

I'm a little confused about Wyse Device Manager in 2019.

Is this software still supported, or must the Wyse Management Suite be used?

We are still on version 5.0. Where can I download the Installation files required for the upgardes?

What is the order for upgrading?

I can't find every single Installation guide for the versions in between like 5.7.0, there is only one for 5.7.2 which says I need 5.7.0 to upgrade. But there is none for the prior version to tell me which version I need to upgrade to it.

Can I continue to use my license for the recent version or do I have to buy a new one?

If I need WMS, where can I get the migration Tool (WDM to WMS)?

Thanks for helping me.

Wyse Device Manager (WDM) is End of life and end of sale.

For new deployments you will want to use WMS.

If you are trying to migrate from WDM to WMS there are guides available at. https://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/19/product-support/product/wyse-wms/manuals

Wyse transitioned to Dell so I would say you have to ask Dell support.

Dell acquired Wyse Technology in 2013.

Typical SDLC is 5 years.

So EOSL would be 2018.

The Dell Digital Locker allows you to view and manage your products, software, subscriptions and licensing information in one location. You can:

OK, thanks for letting me know.

Do you know where I can get the installation files needed for upgrading to the most recent version?

At least I have a valid license and I would like to use the latest version.

Do I need to contact the support directly?
