Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop Client Updates?

Received this from Microsoft:

We have important information regarding your Azure Virtual Desktop service

You're receiving this notice because your organization is currently connecting to Azure Virtual Desktop from older versions of partner clients.

Thin client partners who build their own 3rd Party Azure Virtual Desktop clients consumed critical client-side changes related to the Azure Virtual Desktop Linux SDK to leverage a newly optimized Azure backend for the Azure Virtual Desktop service. A list of clients can be found here.

Therefore, customers need to upgrade to the newest client version from their client provider before 15 August 2023. Customers that continue to connect from older versions of partner clients may experience frequent session disconnections once the backend changes are rolled out into the production environment.

Required action

To avoid being impacted by this upcoming change, it's recommended to visit your thin client provider's release documentation to obtain the latest version of the Azure Virtual Desktop client version so that you can upgrade your clients before 15 August 2023 and avoid any impact from the Azure environment changes going into production. Please contact your thin client provider for any questions regarding this action."

I haven't been able to find any information on this regarding the Dell Wyse Azure client, but it seems as though the last update was last year. Anyone with anymore information?

Thank you,

Thank you for sharing.

ThinOS 2306 and the latest AVD package will work with this update from MS.

Thanks for the info! Turns out I'm running an older image so looks like it's update time!
