USB Redirection NOT WORKING ThinOS 2208
No devices are redirecting into Horizon currently, not sure why or when they stopped working.
The devices show within system tools in the menu.
Redirection works on our other Wyse clients so it is specifically an issue with the 5070's, not an OS or policy issue.
We have USB Redirection ticked under Global Session settings, along with Map Disks etc. and the Excludes unticked.
These clients have always worked as we have users with cameras for Teams, and it's only now we've noticed it isn't working anymore, so i'm assuming one of the latest ThinOS updates have caused the issue?
Anybody have any idea? can anyone check if theirs is still working on the latest ThinOS?

**SOLUTION FOUND - for anyone also having this issue.**
It's actually a computer policy that needs enabling.
So for the VM's, change this:
Computer Configuration > Policies > Administrative Templates > PCoIP Session Variables> Not Overridable Administrator Settings
In here, set 'Configure PCoIP USB allowed and unallowed device rules' to 'Enabled'.
Leave '23XXXXXX' in the drop down.
That's literally it, this entire time.
After checking multiple forums and seeing a lot of people having this issue since 2021, i've never seen this solution, so hopefully this will help a lot of people out.

Any different with Blast V PCOIP? Are you using the latest packages for both with 2208?

Just tested it on 2211, it works on Blast but not on PCOIP.
That was with the latest PCOIP and Horizon app packages.
Even more baffled now!

Yes it's works. If you can't found the "PCoIP Session Variables" policy on your windows client you need to import it first.
1. Download the PCOIP Policy bundle from VMWare
2. Extract the files bundle and locate pcoip.admx and pcoip.adml files
3. Copy the pcoip.admx to C:\Windows\PolicyDefinitions and pcoip.adml to C:\Windows\PolicyDefinitions\en-US
Now using gpedit.msc you can found the "PCoIP Session Variables" Policy and you can set 'Configure PCoIP USB allowed and unallowed device rules' to 'Enabled' as above solutions.

We are struggling with this similar issue on USB redirection.
We have several USB devices; Label printers, Medical Devices etc that ill ONLY work when using PCoIP redirection, when the above Group policy change made...(tks for that. )
Using BLAST the devices appear in the guest VM. The status is reflected when you plug\unplug it ok.
But we can not send data to the devices. Its almost like one way traffic?
Ive checked firewall rules, nothing blocking there.
I am assuming that as per the vmware doco that BLAST USB redirection is done on TCP port 32111
Can it be assumed that the guest VM would also initiate a connection back to the thin client device when it wants to send data? (for a local setup and not going via UAG's)
As in: Guest vm (src port ?) -> Wyse Client (dst port 32111)
We have seen no difference on 5070 or Optiplex 3000 units
Currently testing on Dell ThinOS 2306 (9.4.2103), bios 1.11.0, Horizon 2306.8.10.0.21964631.3 in a Horizon 8 environment.
Any insights\suggestions appreciated

Hello everyone, we have a fleet of WYSE/DELL thin clients, specifically the 3040 and Optiplex 3000 models,
here at the University of French Polynesia.
Here are the installed versions: ThinOS 2308 (9.4.3087), BIOS: 1.13.2, View Horizon package: 2306.8.10.0.21964631.6, PCoIP 23.04.1.13.
USB redirection on the Optiplex works with PCoIP and a VM in Windows 7. However, with Windows 11 BLAST or PCoIP, USB redirection does not work.
I've also checked the PCoIP GPOs, but I don't have the option "Configure PCoIP USB allowed and unallowed device rules."
