About me

Been there, done that, used to have the t-shirt. First computing experience was on paper punch tape whilst at school; makes me sound old, doesn't it? First real computer was an HH Tiger Z80-based business computer running CPM and using 8" and 5¼" floppy drives, which I used to write my MSc thesis, although my MSc included programming an old PDP11/02 in assembler and Fortran. Since progressed to PC's and currently on my 4th, 5th and 6th. I currently have an XPX 8900 and an XPS 8940, both Windows 10, plus a Ryzen 5-based computer I recently built to run Linux Mint.
