Issue reinstalling Windows 7 on my Dell E7250 Laptop
So I downloaded the image from Dells site and put it on a USB and booted from it. My SSD does show up, but it gives me an error when I try to install it on a partition. I forgot the exact error, but it says something about checking the log which I also can't find. I even tried deleting the partition and installing it on the volume it shows and even tried creating a new one. None of it worked.
Basically I took out the old SSD (I think its an M2 SSD) and put in a larger one and just want to put Windows on it again.

raidproblems,
Below are links to help you get Windows 7 installed on your computer. You will need to format the new hard drive before installing Windows 7. You will need to start the computer and TAP the F2 key to enter the bios. From there you will need to change the UEFI boot options. Click the tutorial link below.

Jesse, I tried everything you mentioned... I'm a computer tech and none of it works. I've NEVER had any issues reinstalling or installing Windows on any PC I've touched except for this one...
I downloaded the Windows 7 from your web site that you have for my model. I put it on a USB stick because it doesn't fit on a normal DVD and I don't have any dual layer DVDs. I booted from it successfully.
I clicked next until I got to the part of Windows asking me where to install. When I select the partition, it tells me "Setup was unable to create a new system partition or locate an existing system partition. See the setup log files for more information"
It doesn't matter if I format it or just click next. It gives me the same error. Its a serious problem and this shouldn't be happening. What is the solution for it? I need an actual solution please rather than some guides that discuss everything except the solution.
