AW2521HF, DDM 2.0, can't configure shortcut keys

I just installed DDM (Dell Display Manager) 2.0 because I rebuilt Windows. It appears that I can't change the PIP shortcut key combination ALT-P to something else because it is hidden away by the software. That combination interferes with gaming shortcut keys that I use (I didn't have this problem before).

Below is a capture from the DDM 2 documentation stating that "only relevant hotkeys in accordance with your screen configuration will be displayed.". I can't find that option to change anywhere in the software.

How do I change shortcut key combinations that I cannot see? Maybe the software could not use shortcut key combinations if it is not going to allow me to change them?

I've found a solution! Well, sort of -- it's a workaround, but it solves the issue.

  1. Open DDM 2.0 and go to one of the fields where you can customize a shortcut (e.g., under Input Source --> Hotkeys)
  2. Press one of the shortcuts that are being hijacked by DDM 2.0 (I have identified ALT+P, ALT+S, ALT+A as shortcuts that are predefined in DDM 2.0 and that I actively use elsewhere). It's going to give you a warning stating "This hotkey combination is used by another Dell Display Manager Function. Do you want to replace?" Click yes. Then, repeat this for any other shortcuts you'd like to deactivate.

  3. Finally, press backspace to delete the shortcut for that action with (or any other shortcut if you'd like to use one for that function)

It would be nicer if we could access the "hidden" shortcuts in DDM 2.0 (or that it wouldn't hijack quite as many shortcuts frequently used elsewhere), but this resolves the issue as well.

To receive assistance from Dell support agents, click the "Get help now" icon on the right. Share with them the private monitor Service Tag, 20 digit serial number, and all of your troubleshooting.

Our users cannot assist until you reply with the specific Dell monitor model, PC type, operating system, etc.

Maybe the software could not use shortcut key combinations if it is not going to allow me to change them?
* There is not an option to "turn off" the DDM shortcuts.
* Your best option is to simply disable/end tsk DDM "before" you start a game

I have a similar problem using DDM 2.0 (with a U3223QE monitor): While I'm able to change/remove most shortcuts ("hotkeys") in the DDM 2.0 app (by pressing the new shortcut or backspace to change it to "none"), there appear to be some shortcuts that are not visible and therefore cannot be changed/disabled.

Specifically for me, there's a "ALT+A" shortcut predefined somewhere in DDM 2.0 that is not visible (or at least I haven't been able to find it) which I use in other applications. The only solution I've been able to find is to close the DDM 2.0 application (everything works flawlessly then), however, this deprives me of being able to use Easy Arrange or switching KVM inputs via shortcut.

Can you provide me with the location of the ALT+A shortcut in the DDM 2.0 app so I can change/disable it? It appears to be on a hidden dialog.
