Removing The Integrated Storage Controller Card:
Turn off the system, including any attached peripherals, and disconnect the system from the electrical outlet and peripherals.
Open the system.
Remove the cooling shroud.
Remove the expansion-card riser 1.
Push down the two release levers at the edge of the card to disengage the card from the connector.
Angle the card so that the other end of the card disengages from the storage-controller card holder on the system board.
Replace the expansion-card riser 1.
Replace the cooling shroud.
Close the system.
Reconnect the system to its electrical outlet and turn the system on, including any attached peripherals.
Installing The Integrated Storage Controller Card:
Turn off the system, including any attached peripherals, and disconnect the system from the electrical outlet.
Open the system.
Remove the cooling shroud.
Remove the expansion-card riser 1.
Align one end of the card with the card holder on the system board.
Lower the other end of the card into the storage-controller card holder on the system board.
Press the card down until it is fully seated. When the card is fully seated, the release levers snap over the edge of the card.
Replace the expansion-card riser 1.
Replace the cooling shroud.
Close the system.
Reconnect the system to its electrical outlet and turn the system on, including any attached peripherals.
