It ensures that the system software remains current and compatible with other system modules (firmware, BIOS, drivers, and software) and may include other new features.
This BIOS must be used with version A06 or later Intel chipset driver posted on Support.Dell.com.
Bitlocker must be suspended before flashing this BIOS. It can be changed via the "Bitlocker Drive Encryption" icon in control panel.
Downgrade rule: 1. Please note that if the A04 or after A04 BIOS is currently installed on your system, you can't downgrade to BIOS below A04 BIOS. 2. Please note that if A02 or A03 BIOS is currently installed on your system, you can't downgrade to BIOS below A02 BIOS.
Download 1. Click Download File to download the file. 2. When the File Download window appears, click Save to save the file to your hard drive.
Run the BIOS update utility from Windows environment 1. Browse to the location where you downloaded the file and double-click the new file. 2. Windows System will auto restart and update BIOS while system startup screen. 3. After BIOS update finished, system will auto reboot to take effect.
