This Dell utility is designed to reduce the value of the DevicePath in
the Windows registry to less than 256 characters as a short-term
workaround regarding the installation of the Microsoft Data Access
Components (MDAC); whereby the MDAC Component Checker may report several
files missing.
This utility is needed for systems that must install Microsoft Data
Access Components (MDAC)only.
This file format consists of an archive of files that may be decompressed to a directory on the hard drive. The installation can then be done from that directory.
To ensure the integrity of your download, please verify the checksum value.
